We have preserved for all eternity (from the viewpoint of this observer) a vast collection of old surfing posters by scanning them in at 600 dpi. They were only printed at 300 dpi or less, so it captures every single solitary dot of ink on the originals.
An HDTV image is about 2 Megapixels, a typical digital camera is 10 Megapixels. Some poster images are 300 Megapixels.
We will be adding to the on-line It's the Same Wave collection and have enough to drag it out for years,,
Anyone that has old surf posters that are crumbling to yellow dust, we would like to preserve them, talk to us.
